Based in Old Greenwich, Connecticut, Andrew P. Nemiroff is a partner at Parrino|Shattuck, PC, where he provides legal representation to individuals and families across lower Fairfield County. His practice centers on complex matrimonial and family law matters, including divorce, property division, business valuation, child custody and support, alimony, and post-judgment proceedings.

Mr. Nemiroff represents clients facing contested and high-asset divorces. He advises on strategies to protect assets and financial interests while working toward practical, sustainable solutions. With a career spanning more than 45 years, Mr. Nemiroff places a strong emphasis on careful preparation and informed decision-making. He seeks to help clients manage the challenging transition of separation while preserving their rights and long-term stability.

Mr. Nemiroff holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Central Connecticut State University (1973) and a Master of Arts degree from the University of Utah (1975). He studied law at the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law (formerly known as The John Marshall Law School), where he earned his Juris Doctor, with honors, in 1979 and served as editor-in-chief of the John Marshall Law Review. Following his graduation, he served for two years as law clerk to the Hon. T.F. Gilroy Daly of the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut.

Mr. Nemiroff is licensed to practice in Connecticut and is admitted to the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit. He is a member of both the Connecticut and Fairfield County Bar Associations. He has been awarded an AV Preeminent* peer-review rating through Martindale-Hubbell, representing the organization’s highest distinction, and his peers have recognized him in Best Lawyers annually since 2003. Mr. Nemiroff has served as a Special Master for Family matters in the Stamford/Norwalk Judicial District and is a longtime participant in the Judicial Branch Family Volunteer Program.
